The folks were wonderful and very informative helping us set up a trip full of adventures that we were REALLY looking fwd to completing. However, a week before departure my husband got injured. We contacted Moxie and delayed one week which they graciously re-booked. Then it was discovered my husband could NOT do ANYTHING we had planned including driving 16 hours to ME. We called Moxie to regretfully cancel and were assured due to our documentation of injury a refund. Now they refuse the refund and offer credit for a future trip. We are VERY disappointed and REALLY need the $'s refunded not held in credit. This was to be son's graduation trip. We have much debt in loans to pay back and can not afford hundreds of dollars just sitting in limbo when there is tuition loans to be paid. REALLY disgusted that a small company can not understand and show some compassion when life happens. We always support small local businesses but these folks are an exception and behave like corporate america that could care less about the people behind the reservation. ALL other local small businesses refunded us in full. I would NOT do business with these unyielding folks that care only for the bottom line.

Went rafting with moxie - soooo much fun. Well organized energetic staff. Meal was yummy. All positive.
My favorite place in the world! Phil is the man. Great rafting, great camping, beautiful setting. I can't even say enough about it. Highly recommended!!!
Best campsites and they're near the takeouts for the Kennebec and Dead Rivers so the ride back is short.
